It is normal that following the same negative patterns in life makes you scared. It can give you the feeling that you are trapped in these patterns. They are most likely the same as your parents or even your grandparents had. You will look for the same patterns. For you, it can look impossible to change them even when people will tell you that you can change your future.
Try to put more energy in yourself and learn how to love yourself. If a relationship isn't working out for years, it means you are in a more toxic relationship than a healthy one. You can control your anxiety but not if you keep on feeding it.
Try to stand up for yourself, you need to love yourself before you go look for somebody to complete you. And if you set yourself free, by for example ending the relationship or go on a holiday alone or put some energy in something you love doing, bit by bit you will rediscover your power.
I have so many fears and I'm still working on them. But I got rid of most of my fears because I changed my life, I chose to travel and to get away from the toxic in my life that was feeding my fears. I was scared to be alone and now I love to be alone. Every person has to work on the relationship with themselves, to lose fears, to find happiness and much more.
Try to get to know yourself and when you do, you will break the family circle and you will not experience the same patterns again. One of the first steps is making a step out of your comfort zone, a step you would never do because you are afraid. But do it, just because you are afraid! And then day by day, bit by bit, you can work on your anxiety, yourself and the relationships around you.
